Now after waiting for so long the latest latest update to Whatsapp Beta has brought the ability to send GIFs to android smart phones. Facebook owned Social app has delivered this Update in WhatsApp Beta v2.16.298 build. If you are a beta tester of Whatsapp you can send GIF images to your friends, relatives or anybody you want to. This new Update works well with no bug found till yet.

How To Send GIF on Whatsapp

To send GIF images to your friends just tap on the paperclip button which shows up on your Whatsapp contact’s chat screen and select Gallery. Besides the usual options – Photos and Videos options, you can also have an option of sending GIF to spice up your conversation. Just select the GIF, add an optional caption, and tap to send the image to your friend. GIF Image will sh

ow up with a circular GIF badge on your friend’s chat screen and he/she can tap it for the animation to play. Tap the image outside the badge and you’ll get a full screen version.

Now the feature is rolling out to everyone, starting with the Beta testers and you can expect the stable release to get it in the next weeks.
