Whatsapp Beta Video Calling New Feature Launched for Android
Whatsapp Video Calling Feature Explained
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps on the planet. Whatsapp has recently launched a long awaited Video Calling Feature in the Beta Version. The feature of Video Calling was long awaited by the users from Whatsapp. Users were opting for other apps like IMO, Wechat etc. for video calling but in my personal opinion they were not as good as Whatsapp.
Whatsapp has recently provided the update for the beta version. Anybody who wants to use this new feature can sign in to the beta program of Whatsapp by joining in the Play Store. Here we have also shared some screen shots for better understanding of the feature.
Video Calling on Whatsapp is smooth. Slow internet speed might not hinder the experience of the calling in most of the cases. Although I recommend min. 3G connection or a WiFi for video calling.
How to Start Video Calling on Whatsapp
You Can find the Video Calling feature on the top of the chat box of any of your contact. When you touch the Call Button on the top it will reveal two options on the screen , One is Voice Call and Second is Video Call. Prior to this direct call was connected to the respective contact. It now also avoids the accidental calls from Whatsapp.
Things to Remember Video Calling
Some things you should keep in mind to enjoy the new functionality that Whatsapp should be updated to the latest beta version. The latest version is 2.16.318. The respective contact should update his/her Whatsapp to the latest beat version to do a successful video call.
