Nokia D1C: Nokia Android Smart Phone Spotted
There are lot of rumors going through the smart phone market about the comeback of the legendary mobile company Nokia in the smartphone market. Many of you might paying attentions towards the rumors and leaks of the mysterious Nokia Android Smartphone. If not, then we have a surprise news for you, Nokia is going to make a comeback in the smart phone market and is working on a 3-4 smartphones right now. From these a rather low end smartphone has been leaked through the Geekbench benchmark listings.
A Nokia smartphone with the model number D1C has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark site. There is nothing spectacular information that has been unveiled till now except that it is powered by a modest Snapdragon 430 chipset that would be an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.4 Ghz, and the Adreno 505 GPU. Nokia D1C would come coupled with a 3GB of RAM and will run latest Android 7.0 out of the box with may be their Z launcher on top of it.
As we already mentioned, with the Snapdragon 430 chipset inside, the Nokia D1C was run through Geekbench five times yesterday. The highest single-core score was 682 (twice) while the highest multi-core score was 3229. Unfortunately there is no other information regarding the display, the camera setup, battery or any other thing in this regard.
Still, it is the first time we are eyeing at a solid evidence of an upcoming Nokia smartphone, running Android. Other rumors also claim that the company is working on a couple of premium devices as well with high-res QHD displays with a screen size of 5.2 inches and 5.5 inches.
