- They must have voluntarily cohabited and held themselves out to the world as being akin to spouses for a significant period of time.
Madhya Pradesh has taken a step towards the legalization of live-in relationships. It can lead to legalization of live-in relationships in other states too.
Live-in relationships have its pros and cons, but the decision has to be made by the couple after all. Living together leads to a lot many sacrifices and compromises.
