How to Get Android N Update to your Smart Phone
Google has launched its latest Android 7.0 Nougat couple of months ago to the Android Smart phones. Recently Google has also unveiled their Pixel devices and now they are available for pre order. Google Pixel devices are first deices to run Android 7.1 out of the box. If you have one of the devices for which the initial launch was held you must have received the update shortly. Steps to get Android Nougat on your Phone
1. Back up your device
Prior doing anything to your device you should back up your data before Android 7.0 update so that you won’t lose any of your important information or data while in the process of the update.
2. Get enrolled in Android Beta Program
You have to first get enrolled into the Android Beta Program to receive the update. For this you need to open browser in your nexus device and go to g.co/androidbeta and sign in through your google account. Find the compatible Nexus device you wish to enroll and click the green ‘Enroll device‘ button beside it.Then tap Join Beta button.
3. You will get an Update notification
After the enrollment process you will a notification to tell you that your device has been enrolled and will soon receive an OTA update to the beta version of Android Nougat . Click OK. After that soon you will be offered a OTA update for your device.
4. Download and Install
After you receive the Android N beta OTA update you just need to download it. After the download click to install and follow the instructions appearing on the screen. Ensure you have sufficient battery and a WiFi connection.
