Google Pixel and Pixel XL: Everything You Need to Know
If you want October 4 the event day for Google Inc. to be a surprise, close your eyes now. If you are reading this It will not be a secret a secret anymore that Google will be announcing Google Pixel and a Google Pixel XL. Both are essentially confirmed to be unveiled on October 4, along with some other products.
The first leaked image of Google Pixel doesn’t show us a lot of things. It’s a rounded rectangular bar with a screen on the front, an earpiece, cameras, sensors and power & volume buttons. By far the most eye catching thing about the leaked image of Google Pixel is what is on that screen.
Google Pixel Specs
Google Pixel, the smaller brother of the two handsets, was first detailed under its code name Sailfish in June. That report suggested that the phone would have a 5.2 inches 1080p full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-Core 2.0 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM, 32GB of storage. All that will be run by a 2770 mAh non removable battery. In camera department, it has a 12MP f/1.8 rear camera paired with dual tone dual LED flash, and an 8MP front camera. The report also said that it has a fingerprint scanner on the rear, and a USB-C port on the bottom to take care of the connectivity.

Google Pixel XL Specs
The bigger brother Google Pixel XL code named Marlin will sport a 5.5 inches QHD panel. The display would be of AMOLED quality which goes same for the smaller brother Google Pixel. Everything will remain same in both of the phones except the battery backup. The Battery capacity of the Pixel XL will go as high as 3,450 mAh. Both the smart phones will run Android 7.1 Nougat from day first.
Every icon is a rounded. Even apps like the phone dialer, Messenger and Gmail have been put in a translucent bubble. If you are coming from stock android or any custom UI such as MIUI it’s a very refreshing change for you .
The Pixel is reportedly going to sell at $649 which could be the price of the base variant, this means the Pixel XL will be even more pricey. The Pixel duo will go official on the 4th of October this year.
