Children’s Day 14th November

Children’s’ Day (also known as Bal Diwas) is celebrated on 14th November, every year on the birthday of the first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru of autonomous India, who was affectionately called Chacha Nehru (Uncle Nehru) or Chachaji (Uncle), and who emphasized the significance of giving adoration and warmth to kids, whom he saw as the bright future of India. He needed to advance the progress of Indian youth for which he established training institutes like AIIMS, Indian Institute of Technology. To give him tribute, India celebrates this festival on 14th November, the day of his birthday. Children’s day in India is celebrated to increase the awareness of individuals towards the rights, care and instruction of kids. Children are the key of success and improvement of the nation as they would lead their nation in various ways. They are delightful and shine same like the precious pearls. Children are the God gifts to their parents by the omnipresent. They are innocent, excellent, cute and cherished by everybody.

We Celebrate Children’s Day to pay tribute to a great leader and a kind hearted person our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Pandit Nehru was a great leader and has a worked a lot in his life for the development of India. He was very passionate for his works in the welfare of youngsters and adults in India. Pandit Ji has worked hard in the field of education he has established various educational institutions such as Indian Institutes of Technology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Indian Institutes of Management. He made a five year plan which includes free primary education, free meals including milk to the school children in order to prevent children from malnutrition in India. The deep love and affection of Pandit Ji towards the innocent children of India is the big reason of celebrating the Children’s Day on his birthday anniversary i.e. 14th of November every year.
